BUT considering we didn’t have any social medias, I would say that assessment was accurate.
So in an effort to stay “hip with the kids” we now have a Tweeter, an Instant-Gram and a FacesBook account.

It was held at the Holes Enjoy Centre for The Danny Hooper Christmas Extravaganza & Mosh Pit… or something. I can’t remember exactly what it was called. There may have been a few festive beverages (Christmas Spiritz, if you will) which have clouded my memories a little. Not that I remember drinking…
…but I’m inclined to believe it happened.
And now for no reason here’s a bunch of pictures of the fun. Working here really has it’s perks (I KNEW there had to be one).

Ward’s Auctions 2002 Christmas Party
This batch of photos was recently brought back to my attention and I couldn’t be more pleased. The first photo is an era depiction including (left to right) my dad Gerald, Marshal, Ron, Charles, Maureen, Lydia, Steve, Aunty Betty, Lisa,Paige, Me 🙂 and the framed drawing on the table is my mom Ethel. Below you’re going to see a shwack of pics from our 2002 Christmas staff party. That year we partnered with the gang at Foothills Auctions. Below you’ll see a plethora of pictures from that evening at Lily Lake Resort. I’ll make an effort to post the 2016 Christmas party photos and I’m honoured to say that you’ll see many of the same faces.

Erin Doyle Memorial Poker Run
The Veteran Paratroopers hosted the annual Erin Doyle Memorial Poker Run last week. We have been supporters since day one and again this year we made a donation to their silent auction. I missed the event due to work however I hear the event was a success. The bottom photo shows the package we put in. An SKS rifle, full case of ammo and of course some swag with our logo on it.
